It was an early start on the Saturday morning to make it in time for the Lent Quiet Day at St Michael’s in Richmond, the second of my 12 retreats this year. Although the day lasted from just 10-4pm on the Saturday, I decided to stay the night and make a weekend of it.

Today is Ash Wednesday, the start of Lent, so I thought it would be timely to go on a Lent retreat for the second of my 12 retreats this year.
